About Me

Hi, I'm Matt, a 26-year-old programmer with a deep love for music, astronomy, and playing guitar.

I started this blog to share my experiences with alcohol addiction and hopefully help others find the courage to seek help too.

My goal is to offer motivation and remind anyone reading that they are not alone. I truly understand how hard it is to take that first step — and I’m here to say it’s worth it.

Sobriety changed my life. Since getting sober on September 15, 2022, I’ve turned things around. I’m finishing my associate degree, planning to study further, working a job I love, and most importantly — I feel clear, focused, and full of energy again.

Thank you for being here. Whether you're just curious, newly sober, or years into your journey — I'm glad our paths crossed.
